Refund Policy
Steps to request a refund for a purchase made through the App Store.
Last updated: 3 January 20251. Refunds are handled by Apple
All payments for the Sky News app, including any optional in-app purchases, are processed by Apple through the App Store. This website does not process payments and cannot issue refunds directly. Refund requests must be submitted to Apple.
2. How to request a refund from Apple
- Go to reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with your Apple ID.
- Find the purchase related to the Sky News app.
- Select "Report a Problem", choose a reason, and follow the on-screen instructions.
- Alternatively, on your iPhone or iPad, open Settings > your name > Subscriptions, or the Apple Support app, to request help.
3. Refund eligibility
Whether a refund is granted, and within what timeframe, is entirely at Apple's discretion under their own refund policies. Typically requests are considered within a limited period after the purchase date.
4. Subscriptions
Cancelling a subscription stops future billing but does not automatically refund the current billing period. See our Subscription Terms for how to cancel.
5. What we can help with
While we cannot process refunds, we're happy to point you to the right Apple support channel, or answer general questions about how the Sky News app's free features work.
